Super seeks a Director of Engineering to drive the technical vision for the Manage - Identity, Fraud & CS tribe and the broader engineering org. You will lead cross-functional teams, foster innovation, and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

A proven track record in building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations is required. You will partner with product, marketing, design, and leadership to land strategic improvements, hire and develop engineering talent, and guide roadmap

Formación

• 15+ years in software engineering or related roles.
• 8+ years leading/managing an engineering team.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field (or 11+ years of experience).
• Proactivity, autonomy, and ability to drive solutions across teams.

• Define strategy and vision for the Manage tribe and engineering organization; build and grow teams.
• Lead by example in an experimentation and outcomes-driven culture.
• Influence strategy and drive cross-functional outcomes with product, marketing, design, and leadership.

• Oversee multiple engineering teams: frontend, backend, full stack, data science and data engineering.
• Provide people management, coaching, and performance feedback to managers and teams.

About The Role

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to drive the technical vision and strategy of our Manage - Identity, Fraud & CS tribe and wider Engineering teams at Super Technologies. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and delivering scalable, high-impact solutions. This role suits a proactive, technically strong leader with a proven track record in building and scaling high-performing engineering organizations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partnering to define the strategy and vision of the Manage tribe and wider Engineering organization, building new teams to achieve it, and growing the existing teams
• Leading by example as an Experimentation and Outcome-driven organization
• Landing organizational impact for Super Technologies by influencing strategy, driving business decisions, and building relationships with partners and stakeholders to drive outcomes (Product, Marketing, Design, Commercial, Leadership)
• Partnering with teams across the company to land improvements on their products
• Building, supporting and driving an organization made up of multiple teams of engineers including frontend, backend, full stack, data scientists and data engineers
• Providing people management support and direction to your managers and teams in the form of hiring, coaching, support, feedback, performance management and reviews
• Owning technical strategy and direction for your teams by handling ambiguity, building/driving roadmaps, ensuring Engineering excellence, setting goals and measuring impact
  

What We’re Looking For

• Engineering leader who thinks about the big picture and can evaluate complex, ambiguous trade-offs and achieve the right outcome(s)
• Proven experience (15+ years) in software engineering or related roles
• Proven experience (8+ years) leading/managing an engineering team, supporting the growth and performance of engineers and managers
• Bachelors in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (otherwise, 11+ years of experience)
• Extreme proactivity and autonomy in the face of ambiguity, identifies problems and drives solutions to them via themselves as well as others
• Deep understanding of the complex technical problems, software development lifecycle and ensuring reliability and stability of services
• Track record of driving clarity via written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and organizational skills
• Experience resolving complex engineering and communication issues across teams and organizations
  

Bonus points

• Experience in online casino or sports betting products and driving improvements to them
• Understanding of Kubernetes/AWS/Kafka or experience building highly reliable products
• Supporting of a global organization across multiple time zones, with different role types
