Super is hiring multiple Senior Engineering Managers to lead high-performing engineering teams across several product areas. In this role, you will drive technical excellence, shape impactful products, and play a key part in how we grow and operate engineering at scale.

You will hire, mentor, and manage engineers while aligning priorities with product and business goals, ensuring timely delivery and quality across distributed teams.

Formación

• Proven experience in people leadership within engineering.
• Strong track record of hiring engineers and building team culture.
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Servant leadership mindset with a hands-on approach to engineering.
• Experience resolving complex engineering and communication challenges.
• Strong time management, organisational, and multitasking skills.

Responsabilidades

• Hire, lead, and develop a team of engineers - including tech leads, software engineers, and QAs - who report directly to you
• Ensure growth and development for all team members through coaching and mentoring, regular 1:1s, feedback sessions, and performance reviews; identify and remove roadblocks and distractions
• Nurture strong relationships with other engineering managers, tech leads, and product managers across the organisation
• Define priorities, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure regular updates and follow-ups on the team's scope of work
• Support engineering department goals by setting team requirements, objectives, and timelines
• Make relevant technical and business decisions that ensure predictable delivery in terms of timelines, stability, and performance
• Build and maintain a culture of engineering excellence - upholding high standards of quality and reliability

What the role involves

• Hire, lead, and develop a team of engineers - including tech leads, software engineers, and QAs - who report directly to you
