Symrise seeks a Digital Solutions Architect & Engineer to shape how AI, GenAI, and intelligent automation are used to solve business challenges. You will own the architecture and delivery of scalable, secure enterprise solutions that deliver measurable impact.

This senior individual contributor role combines hands-on engineering with solution architecture and technical leadership. You will collaborate with stakeholders, data scientists, platform teams, IT, cybersecurity, and external partners

• Experienced technology professional who designs and delivers digital and AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, GenAI, and agentic AI, plus enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, and MLOps/LLMOps.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and owning solutions from concept to production.
• Interested in intelligent automation with RPA and lifecycle management; able to collaborate across business, IT, data, cybersecurity, and partners.

Responsabilidades

• Design and lead enterprise AI, GenAI, and agentic AI solutions aligned with Symrise's strategy.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, production-ready architectures.
• Define reusable AI solution patterns, architectures, and technical blueprints.
• Build and implement production-grade AI solutions across ML, GenAI, RAG, orchestration, tuning, and agentic AI.
• Collaborate with MLOps, LLMOps, data platform, and IT teams to operationalize solutions.
• Own and evolve the RPA and intelligent automation strategy, including governance.
• Deliver automation solutions using UiPath and other platforms as applicable.
• Act as technical advisor to stakeholders and define AI use cases with measurable value.
• Ensure responsible and secure AI with explainability, auditability, traceability, compliance, and cybersecurity.

Your role

As a Digital Solutions Architect & Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping how Symrise uses AI, GenAI, agentic AI, and intelligent automation to solve real business challenges. You will take ownership of the architecture and technical delivery of enterprise-scale solutions, turning ideas and business needs into secure, scalable, production-ready applications that deliver measurable impact.

This is a senior individual contributor role where you will combine hands-on engineering with solution architecture and technical leadership. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, platform teams, IT, cybersecurity, and external partners to take AI solutions from initial use case definition through to production and adoption.

A key part of the role will also be taking ownership of RPA and intelligent automation, bringing greater governance, structure, and scalability to existing and future automation solutions. You will help establish standards and best practices while ensuring that AI and automation are integrated into a broader, sustainable digital transformation strategy.

About you

You are an experienced technology professional with a strong background in designing and delivering digital and AI solutions. You combine deep technical expertise with an ability to understand business challenges and turn them into practical, scalable solutions.

You have hands-on experience with Machine Learning, GenAI, and agentic AI, as well as enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, and MLOps/LLMOps. You are comfortable working with ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and taking ownership of solutions from initial concept through to production.

You are also interested in intelligent automation and have experience with RPA technologies and automation lifecycle management. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across business, IT, data, cybersecurity, and external partners are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise AI, GenAI, and agentic AI solutions aligned with Symrise's strategy.


• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, compliant, and production-ready architectures.


• Define reusable AI solution patterns, architectures, and technical blueprints.


• Build and implement production-grade AI solutions across ML, GenAI, RAG, orchestration, fine-tuning, and agentic AI.


• Work closely with MLOps, LLMOps, data platform, and IT teams to ensure successful operationalization.


• Own and evolve the RPA and intelligent automation strategy, including governance and lifecycle management.


• Deliver automation solutions using platforms such as UiPath.


• Act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders and co-define AI use cases with clear value and success metrics.


• Ensure responsible and secure AI by incorporating explainability, auditability, traceability, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements.


• Contribute to enterprise AI standards, reference architectures, best practices, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.


• Support training and upskilling of business users to drive digital adoption and enable citizen development.


• Ensure AI and automation solutions deliver measurable business outcomes, balancing innovation with cost, risk, feasibility, and regulatory requirements.
