Job summary

Nestlé Nespresso SA seeks a DevOps and QA Automation Expert to lead quality engineering direction within the DevSecOps model. You will ensure automated validation, quality gates, and governance across CI/CD pipelines and delivery workflows.

You will guide pipeline architecture decisions, Git workflows, and reusable automation, enabling scalable validation across UI, API, integration, event, data and services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience across DevOps, Quality Engineering, software engineering, test automation, platform engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipeline architecture and automated validation in delivery pipelines.
• Knowledge of Git-based development workflows, branching strategies, pull-request controls, and code-review practices.
• Experience implementing QA and Testing in microservices-based, API-led, event-driven or distributed architectures.
• Experience implementing or scaling contract-testing across services and teams.
• Experience integrating UI, API, contract, integration, event and other automated validations into the software delivery lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of automation-first, shift-left, risk-based validation and product-quality ownership.
• Experience collaborating with DevOps, Platform, QE, Product, Engineering, Security and Architecture stakeholders.
• Bachelor-level degree in computer science or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of Quality Engineering requirements and automated testing into CI/CD pipeline architectures.
• Collaborate on pipeline architecture decisions affecting automated validation, quality gates, test execution and feedback.
• Provide QE expertise for Git-based workflows and continuous integration practices.
• Drive adoption of contract testing for composable, microservices-based architectures.
• Contribute to validation approaches for APIs, events, integrations, data flows and deployable services.
• Assist development of reusable pipeline components and automation integrations.
• Enable teams to adopt automation-first, shift-left practices with reduced central support.
• Evaluate emerging DevSecOps, automation and observability capabilities.
