Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Tester / QA Engineer at Schneider Digital in Barcelona to lead software quality efforts for the Intelligent Edge platforms. You will validate deliverables, automate tests, and continuously improve QA practices across distributed architectures and microservices.

Fluency in English is required, with a focus on secure, scalable testing. The role emphasizes functional and non-functional testing, automation with Python and Robot Framework, and integration with GitHub

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Python and the Robot Framework.
• Experience with GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with security and performance testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies (functional, non-functional, automated, and manual).
• Design test plans, test cases, and automated scripts using Python and Robot Framework.
• Develop mocks and stubs to support testing in a stubbed environment.
• Integrate tests into GitHub CI/CD pipelines and ensure their continuous execution.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with developers, Proxy PO, and architects.
• Execute test campaigns and analyze results to identify and report issues.
• Ensure traceability of requirements and comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA tools and processes.
• Ensure services comply with security, performance, and reliability standards.
• Support the creation of technical documentation and quality reports.
