Multiverse Computing, a leading quantum software company, is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Mid/Senior) in a hybrid role based in San Sebastian, Spain. You’ll join a fast-growing, inclusive team delivering model inference APIs, automation, and scalable deployment strategies.

The role emphasizes building CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes, and robust production systems while collaborating across engineering and operations to meet ambitious timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS Cloud automation (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience deploying and managing APIs in production.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong problem-solving and delivery under pressure.
• Good command of English; another EU language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment with tight timelines.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of APIs and services.
• Implement DevOps strategies for the org.
• Automate software delivery with development and operations teams.
• Identify tools/processes to improve software delivery.
• Communicate trends to leadership and propose customer-focused solutions.
• Deploy software stack to Fortune 500 servers.
