Multiverse Computing, a leading quantum software company, is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Mid/Senior) in a hybrid role based in San Sebastian, Spain. You’ll join a fast-growing, inclusive team delivering model inference APIs, automation, and scalable deployment strategies.

The role emphasizes building CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes, and robust production systems while collaborating across engineering and operations to meet ambitious timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of DevOps experience.
• Experience with AWS Cloud automation (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience deploying and managing APIs in production.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting with Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong problem-solving and delivery under pressure.
• Good command of English; another EU language is a plus.

Position

As a DevOps Engineer, you will

• Deliver in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment: prioritise a broad workload against tight timelines, take ownership of outcomes, and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of our model inference API and other API's
• Implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
• Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes.
• Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
• Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
• Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients' servers.

Your qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
• Alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer.
• 2-5 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
• Experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in the AWS Cloud, using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e., GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with deploying, managing, and optimizing API's in production environments.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with one or more scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security Issues.
• Proven ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines
• Good command of English and ideally another EU Language.
