Job summary

Multiverse Computing is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Madrid-based team on a hybrid schedule. You will optimize model inference APIs, implement DevOps strategies, and automate software delivery across a fast-paced environment.

You will work with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools while collaborating with development and operations teams to deploy solutions for enterprise clients. Fluency in English and a proactive mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Experience with AWS Cloud, automation for deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience deploying, managing, and optimizing APIs in production.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go).
• Strong troubleshooting and ability to deliver under pressure and deadlines.
• Good command of English and ideally another EU language.

Location: Madrid (Hybrid)

Flexibility of candidate needs to go to Guadalajara office at least once a week and the other 2 days of the office work, can be done in Madrid/Guadalajara.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will

• Deliver in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment: prioritise a broad workload against tight timelines, take ownership of outcomes, and make sound decisions with incomplete information.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of our model inference API and other API's
• Implement DevOps strategies for the organization.
• Work with development and operations teams to automate software delivery processes.
• Identify and implement tools and processes to improve software development and delivery.
• Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.
• Help deploy our software stack to Fortune 500 clients’ servers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field;
• Alternatively, significant work experience as a Software Engineer.
• 2-5 years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
• Experience in large-scale, secure, and high availability solutions in the AWS Cloud, using automation to support deployment, scaling, monitoring, and management (Terraform / CloudFormation).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (i.e., GitLab CI/CD, GH Actions, Jenkins).
• Experience with deploying, managing, and optimizing API's in production environments.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with one or more scripting and programming languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of infrastructure and security Issues.
• Proven ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Good command of English and ideally another EU Language.
