Job summary

The Tether global team is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to help QA/VAC applications teams build and deliver reliable software with less friction. You will focus on desktop and mobile apps, shared runtime, and AI harness, building developer tools and integrating AI agents into workflows.

You’ll own tooling improvements from implementation to adoption, collaborating with engineers to shorten feedback loops, improve automation, and raise code quality across projects in a fully remote,

Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining developer tools and engineering automation used by others.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
Experience with AI coding tools or agents and their integration into workflows.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents needed by teams.
Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows to investigate failures and propose fixes.
Improve automated pull request reviews and reduce noise for reviewers.
Develop code quality scripts and checks for complexity, size, and performance regressions.
Improve development environments, testing, and build/release workflows for reliability.
Prioritize improvements with engineering teams and support adoption via docs and onboarding.
Measure effectiveness, reliability, and operating costs of tooling.
