We are looking for a Developer Analyst (Spark/Scala Developer) with solid experience in Big Data technologies, ETL design, data modeling, and data validation. The ideal candidate will contribute to the definition and automation of Market Risk processes developed using Spark Scala and collaborate within a Big Data-focused team responsible for common data engineering activities.
Participate in the definition, development, and automation of Market Risk processes using Spark and Scala.
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and data models.
Perform data testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
Develop and optimize solutions on Big Data platforms, including Spark and Hadoop.
Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data processing and analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on shared Big Data initiatives and best practices.
Support the implementation and enhancement of data workflows and processing pipelines.
3 to 5 years of experience in technology projects, ETL design, data modeling, and data testing/validation.
Scala
Hadoop
Advanced knowledge of SQL.
Basic knowledge of Shell Scripting.
Experience with Azure Databricks.
Experience in the Banking sector, particularly Market Risk.
Knowledge of Airflow as a workflow/pipeline management tool.
