UST España & Latam is seeking a Senior Backend Spark Developer to design, develop, and optimize data processing solutions within the Client Contribution platform. You will build scalable Big Data pipelines and collaborate across multiple teams to drive performance and reliability.

The role requires strong Spark experience (Scala or Python), solid SQL and data modelling skills, and a bilingual capability with English and Spanish. You will work in a remote/hybrid model with flexible arrangements.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Apache Spark (Scala or Python).
• Solid SQL knowledge and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Hive.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps environments (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus).
• Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments.
• English level B2+ and Spanish level C1+.
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem and AI technologies is a plus.

What we look for?

High English level is required.

• English level B2+ (minimum) and Spanish (at least C1+)

Nice to have:

• Experience with orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow or similar)
• Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
• Interest or experience in AI technologies applied to data engineering, analytics, or automation
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools or contributing to AI-driven data platforms
