Inter IKEA Systems B.V. is seeking a Data Scientist to advance AI, ML, and analytics for IKEA Service Office. The role focuses on building scalable analytics frameworks and AI-powered solutions to improve store performance and operational efficiency.

You will work with cross-functional teams across geographies, using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms to deliver impactful digital products while embracing agile methods and modern software practices. Fluency in English and Spanish is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Physics, Science, or equivalent; Master’s preferred in Data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data or Advanced Analytics
• Python, PySpark, in Jupyter Lab, Big Query, DataBircks environment.
• Advanced SQL skills for proper data storage and utilization.
• Proficiency with Git, development using GitHub Copilot, and best development practices.
• More than three years of experience as a Data Scientist, with ML models and AI agents (LLMs/CV).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity for learning and applying new technologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset across teams/geographies.
• Proactive, self-organized, and committed to high-quality results.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and promote advanced analytics frameworks and services that improve business performance within cross-functional digital product teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions addressing real store needs and promote analytics adoption.
• Build scalable, resilient digital products delivering a pleasant customer experience globally.
• Apply modern software development practices, including debugging and version control, to deliver flexible digital solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet actual business needs by working with colleagues from different functions.
• Promote agile data-science practices: rapid prototyping, continuous deployment, performance measurement.
• Integrate AI to improve processes by developing LLM- and CV-based agents/products.
