Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a Data Science Specialist to join our OptimusAI initiative in Brussels. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to drive client performance across energy, quality, and capacity using advanced analytics.

You will work with engineers to build innovative models and codify best practices, shaping the product roadmap. Expect significant ownership from day one and opportunities to travel globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on analytics experience in heavy industry environments.
• Advanced Python programming with clean, modular, maintainable code.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain MLOps pipelines for model integration and deployment.
• Strong DevOps/backend engineering with CI/CD, containerization, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team to drive client performance using data analytics.
• Work with product engineers to develop innovative products and algorithms.
• Codify best practices and contribute to the product roadmap and toolkit.
• Present insights to executive audiences and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Travel to client sites locally and globally as needed.
