Merck KGaA is seeking a Software Engineer in Spain to design and deliver data and AI solutions powering smarter workflows. You will join an international team, delivering analytics, AI and data products at scale.

You will work on data pipelines, governance, and platform components for enabling functions like HR and procurement, leveraging Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, and PySpark in a product-oriented delivery model.

Formación

• Several years of proven software engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Proficient in Python and Spark with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Hands-on with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, and PySpark for end-to-end data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, privacy, and security in large-scale settings.
• Excellent English communication; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable apps, data pipelines, and platform components translating business needs into solutions.
• Develop robust applications and interfaces that replace manual processes with intuitive experiences.
• Own data platforms ensuring governance, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and shape the technical direction.
• Shape the future of data engineering within Enabling Functions using Snowflake, AWS, and Palantir Foundry.
• Contribute to a Spain-based hub within a global team, working on diverse AI use cases.
