Trimble is seeking a Data Product Engineer to lead data engineering and analytics initiatives within the Data & Analytics team. You will shape data products, build scalable pipelines, and govern semantic layers that power reporting, internal apps, and AI-enabled services.

Competenze

• Minimum 5+ years in data/analytics/engineering or adjacent field.
• Mastery of data engineering and analytics engineering including data modelling, ELT, pipeline performance and reliability.
• Strong SQL, Python, and cloud data services experience (GCP BigQuery).
• Experience with dbt, orchestration, and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD).
• Ability to communicate decisions and trade‑offs to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Design, build, and improve reliable data pipelines, analytical models, and reusable data products for BI, internal apps, and AI consumers.
• Provide opinionated technical leadership and establish standards for architecture, modeling, orchestration, testing, data contracts, documentation, ownership, access control, and lifecycle management.
• Shape and operate a governed semantic layer with consistent metrics and business concepts across reporting, applications, APIs, and AI‑enabled services.
• Improve operational excellence through data quality controls, observability, monitoring, alerting, incident practices, performance optimization, CI/CD, and cost management.
• Evolve AI‑native practices, including how coding agents are defined, reviewed, and used; make dependencies and context accessible and reusable.
