Factorial is seeking a Technical Support & Data Operations Engineer to bridge Customer Experience and Core Engineering. You will diagnose and fix bugs directly in our codebase (Ruby, Python, Java) and drive robust ETL tasks to ensure seamless customer experiences.

When bugs are resolved, you’ll focus on data integrations, migrations, and automated data handling while maintaining data integrity and security across sensitive HR information.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2+ years of professional Ruby development and debugging.
• 1–2+ years of professional TypeScript development.
• Proficiency with Python for scripting, data manipulation, or automation.
• Familiarity with Java for internal data processing tools.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to read and fix complex code.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes, or large datasets.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and GraphQL.
• Bilingual Spanish (C1) and English (B2) for internal communications.

Responsabilidades

• Bug hunting and fixing in Factorial's codebase (Ruby on Rails, TypeScript, Python).
• Code maintenance and writing clean, maintainable code; handle internal data tooling when required.
• Data operations and entry for accurate input of text and numerical data.
• Design and execute ETL workflows to migrate data from legacy systems into our SaaS platform.
• Develop automation and low-code solutions to reduce manual tasks.
• Handle sensitive HR/payroll data with discretion and security.
• Collaborate with internal teams, translating technical issues into clear updates.
