Factorial HR seeks a Technical Support & Data Operations Engineer to bridge Customer Experience and Core Engineering. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix bugs in Ruby, Python and Java, then pivot to data tasks ensuring data integrity and smooth migrations.

You’ll work with sensitive HR and payroll data, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate across teams to keep the SaaS platform stable and scalable.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2+ years writing and debugging Ruby.
• 1–2+ years working with TypeScript.
• Proficient in Python for scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Java for internal data tools.
• Strong debugging skills and reading code to find failures.
• Experience with data migration, ETL processes or large datasets.
• Experience with REST API endpoints, SQL and GraphQL.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and deploy fixes for customer issues in Factorial’s codebase.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Ruby on Rails and TypeScript; use Python scripts.
• Manage accurate input of text, numerical data, and customer configurations.
• Design and execute ETL workflows to migrate data from legacy systems.
• Identify repetitive tasks and build automation or low-code solutions.
• Handle sensitive HR/payroll data with discretion and security.
• Collaborate with internal teams, translating technical issues into updates.
