DWS Group in Madrid is seeking a Data Engineer focused on Reporting and Analytics to maintain and enhance the SIMS reporting landscape, migrate Cognos reports to Tableau, and contribute to the future cloud-based reporting architecture.

You will work with business stakeholders, build data pipelines and reporting datasets to support KPIs and financial reporting, ensure governance and data quality, and align with the broader technology standards in a hybrid environment.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred) and SQL.
• Knowledge of data models, data warehouse concepts.
• Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines for reporting/analytics.
• Strong Tableau development experience.
• Knowledge of Cognos or other BI/tools desirable.
• Experience migrating reports to modern BI tools.
• Experience implementing self-service reporting with governance.
• Understanding of data quality, lineage, provenance, controls.
• Exposure to Snowflake/BigQuery or similar platform.
• Understanding of financial/corporate reporting advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Delivering new reporting requirements for the SIMS application.
• Working with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
• Maintaining and optimizing the SIMS reporting landscape and datasets.
• Supporting migration from legacy BI to Tableau and modern tools.
• Redesigning and simplifying reports where possible.
• Building and enhancing data pipelines and reporting datasets for KPIs.
• Supporting reporting governance, data quality, lineage and controls.
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team to align with architecture and standards.
• Contributing to the evolution of the reporting architecture as the platform modernises.
