Job summary

DATA4 Group is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer (DCIE) in Madrid to streamline operations, manage critical environments, and lead projects end-to-end. You will collect data, assess risks, coordinate with engineering, operations, and facilities teams, and drive improvements to ensure resilience.

The role requires strong data center knowledge, project management experience, and fluency in Spanish and English, with occasional travel across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in mission-critical operations or incident management.
• 2+ years in project management.
• Fluent in Spanish and English (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Collect technical data from facility managers and vendors.
• Establish risk maps and contingency plans to mitigate identified risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams for project execution.
• Lead technical discussions with customers' critical environment reps and coordinate technical support.
• Lead recurrent and ad hoc technical projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Communicate project status to customers and internal stakeholders such as CSM.
• Ensure projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and support QA processes and audits.
• Monitor vendor performance and adherence to project specs.
• Engage with contractors and stakeholders in critical environment projects.
• Conduct technical audits based on failure data.
