MERLIN Edged is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to join our team and drive the lifecycle of site projects, services, and reports. You will work with the Regional Service Manager and Site Managers to ensure high-availability operations across facilities.

Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance, cleaning, security, vendor management, and emergency response. Leadership experience in engineering/operations is essential, with a focus on data center environments and cost-effective

Formación

• Problem-solving aptitude and lean operational methodologies to distill data and drive impact.
• Experience mentoring and leading project management professionals is desired but not required.
• Background in a technical field or commensurate experience.
• 4 years of leadership experience in engineering/operations.
• Experience in large-scale planning and coordination with multiple concurrent projects.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure and critical environment concepts.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting.
• Project or program management experience and certifications (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, Agile).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and ensure regular maintenance of data center infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, backups).
• Coordinate with technicians and vendors for preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise cleaning and environmental control to meet hygiene and temperature specs.
• Develop and implement security procedures; ensure 24/7 monitoring and access control.
• Liaise with vendors; negotiate contracts and monitor service levels.
• Develop emergency protocols and lead response efforts.
• Maintain compliance with standards and regulatory reports; provide management updates.
• Manage budgets for maintenance, cleaning, and security operations.
• Supervise staff; provide safety and operations training.
• Develop and deliver training schedules for clients.
