Getnet Platforms in Madrid seeks a Data Architect to design multi-domain data architectures, drive data modernization and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.

You will lead architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with analytics, software and governance teams to deliver scalable data solutions in a regulated payments environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong expertise in modern cloud data ecosystems and distributed processing frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of data modelling and data integration patterns.
• Experience designing scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse or Lakehouse architectures.
• Understanding of streaming platforms such as Kafka, APIs and CDC mechanisms.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP cloud data ecosystems.
• Agile/DevOps with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.

• Ensure domain architecture aligns with enterprise data standards and normalization initiatives.

• Support canonical model definition and data harmonization across domains.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption aligned with enterprise strategy.
• Lead data migration and modernization initiatives, improving scalability and cost‑efficiency.
• Act as a technical reference for Data Architects and Data Engineers; lead architecture reviews.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the design of complex data architectures across multiple domains and high‑impact initiatives.
• Translate enterprise data principles and standards into scalable solution designs aligned with business and technical needs.

• Lead technical execution of data migration and modernization initiatives while improving scalability, performance and cost‑efficiency.
• Act as a technical reference for Data Architects and Data Engineers, leading architecture review sessions and providing constructive feedback.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Data Architect to join our team in Madrid, with the following qualifications and background:

Professional Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering or related roles. (Required)
• Proven experience leading complex data initiatives across multiple teams or domains. (Required)
• Experience in regulated industries such as payments or financial services. (Preferred)
• Experience designing and implementing automations to improve operational efficiency. (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience. (Required)

Languages

• Professional working proficiency in English. (Required)

Hard Skills

• Strong expertise in modern cloud data ecosystems and distributed processing frameworks. (Required)
