Getnet Platforms, part of Santander Payment Solutions, invites a Software Engineer to join our development team in Madrid. You will design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications with Spring Boot, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Requirements include 5+ years in software development, strong REST API design, and proficiency in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Additional certifications in Software Engineering, Cloud, Kubernetes, or Distributed Systems (Preferred).
• Spanish (Required)
• English (professional working proficiency) (Required)
• Spring Boot and REST APIs are core skills.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience (Required)
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying software applications (Required)
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues (Required)
• Experience participating in code reviews (Required)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Required)
• Experience improving application performance and scalability (Required)
• Experience supporting production environments (Preferred)
• Experience working in cloud-native environments (Preferred)
• Experience designing scalable and resilient systems (Preferred)
• Experience mentoring junior engineers (Preferred)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relatd field. (Required)
• Additional certifications in Software Engineering, Cloud, Kubernetes, or Distributed Systems (Preferred)
