Job summary

Hack in Hire is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Technician in Madrid to administer, support and operate cybersecurity platforms protecting client infrastructure. You will work across endpoint, access control, proxy, and network security solutions and participate in incident management and response.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of administration/operation experience in cybersecurity, with certifications in the listed technologies.

Qualifications

The role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Support Technician to administer, support, and operate the cybersecurity platforms that protect our client's infrastructure. You will work across endpoint, access control, proxy, and network security solutions, and take part in the security incident management and response cycle.

Requirements

• University degree in a STEM field, or a Higher Technician qualification (Vocational Training, CFGS).
• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in the administration and operation of the cybersecurity platforms described in this posting.
• Experience administering and supporting endpoint security solutions (Palo Alto Cortex preferred).
• Experience administering and supporting PAM solutions (Sealpath).
• Experience administering and supporting proxy solutions.
• Experience administering and supporting NAC solutions.
• Experience in security incident management and response.

Certifications

At least two current vendor certifications in any of the following technologies:

• Forcepoint Next Generation Firewall – internal firewalls.
• UTM Check Point – external firewall with IPS and web filtering functionality.
• Tufin – centralised firewall management system.
• F5 – reverse proxy, WAF, and load balancer.
• Arista / Mojo Networks – wireless intrusion detection and prevention system (1 console).
• CounterACT / ForeScout – network access control system.
• Tenable.sc – vulnerability manager with professional Nessus scanning probes.
• Trend Micro Deep Discovery Analyzer – sandboxing system.
• Trend Micro Deep Discovery Inspector – advanced threat detection system.
• Trend Micro InterScan Messaging Security Virtual Appliance – anti-spam system.
• Proxy SG Broadcom (Bluecoat) – web navigation control system.
• Nextcloud.
• One Identity Safeguard (SPPs and SPSs) – PAM.
• One Identity OneLogin – 2FA.

Valuable requirements

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity.

Working arrangement

• Location: Madrid.
• Hybrid model: 3 days on site and 2 days remote, flexible in principle. One on-call week per month.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, split shift.
