Neotalent Conclusion in Barcelona is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst to join an international insurance client team. The role offers a permanent contract with a hybrid working model in Barcelona and opportunities to work on complex security projects.

You will support password security, perform scanning, and collaborate with network, systems, and database teams while developing skills with industry tools and certifications.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience.
• Experience in systems integration, preferably within cybersecurity environments.
• Knowledge of systems, network, and database administration.
• Hands-on experience with Unix, Linux, Windows, and Active Directory.
• Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and AS400 environments.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of security risks, authentication mechanisms, and access management.
• Knowledge of hash algorithms and password auditing/recovery tools such as John the Ripper, Hashcat, EPAS, and Enforcer.
• Experience working in large-scale and complex enterprise environments.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and resolve issues identified during password scanning activities.
• Maintain and update troubleshooting documentation and operational procedures.
• Organize and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with network, systems, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Communicate password scan coverage rates and metrics to the password security team and relevant governance committees.
• Analyze the root causes of incidents related to password security and authentication.
• Escalate findings and propose preventive measures to avoid recurring issues.
• Support password strength governance initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Act as a technical point of reference for weak password auditing and prevention activities.
• Contribute to improving security posture through continuous monitoring and remediation processes.
