Kennametal is seeking a Customer Service Representative with German to join our international team at the Sant Cugat de Vallès service center near Barcelona. You will handle orders, inquiries, billing issues, and returns, collaborating with sales and other departments to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Fluency in German and English, prior office/service center experience, and SAP familiarity are important.

Formación

• Fluent in German and English.
• Previous experience in an office or service center role.
• University or technical/vocational studies completed.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service focus and ability to stay productive under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide new and existing customers with service relating to billing inquiries, service requests, and directing to resolution.
• Support sales with communications and promotions as needed.
• Resolve inquiries and complaints; escalate complex issues when required.
• Set up Customer Accounts in CRM and SAP for reporting and functionality.
• Review documents and ensure material flow is correctly entered into systems.
• Enter orders in SAP and send acknowledgments and attachments.
• Respond to customer requests via phone or email and maintain web portals.

Customer Service Representative with German

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our international team at our service center in Sant Cugat de Vallès, Barcelona.

You'll be the front line of support for our customers, handling everything from order entry and expedites to quoting and returns. This role puts you at the heart of customer relationships, where you'll resolve inquiries, manage billing issues, and ensure every customer receives exceptional service. Working closely with sales teams and various departments, you'll help maintain smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Join us in delivering productivity to customers across aerospace, defense, energy, and transportation industries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, service requests, and directs customer to resolution of issue.
• Provides customer services relating to sales, sales promotions, and communications.
• Resolves customer inquiries and complaints fairly & effectively & provides timely responses to customer inquiries via fax, phone, email, etc.and maintaining metrics goals.Resolves more complex complaints escalated by customer/sales force.
• Setup Customer Accounts (CRM and SAP), this includes working with other segments to make sure we are setup for reporting and function related to customer needs.
• Examine documents (PO, drawings, specifications, etc.) working closely various departs to enter material is flowing through processes.
• Enter orders in SAP, attached documents and send acknowledgments
• Respond to customer requests via phone or email
• Maintain customer web-based interfaces i.e., portals (order retrieval, acknowledgments, uploading invoices, create ASNs and labels)
• Maintain scheduling agreements &/or Qty contracts
• Work with accounting to resolve receivable issues
• Entry and track of customer complaints
• Overall Support for Sales &/or Plant: Stocking Agreements, subject to certain facilities; Consignment Agreements, subject to certain facilities; KANBAN

Requirements:

• Fluent in German and English (Hungarian is a plus)
• Previous experience in an office or service center role
• University or technical/vocational studies
• SAP experience preferred
• Excellent Customer Service focus and ability to remain productive under pressure
• Strong written and oral communication skills
