Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Treasurer based in Madrid to manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury risks in line with Group policies. The role requires 5–10 years of experience and a strong eye for cash forecasting, banking relations, and compliance.

The successful candidate will monitor debt, manage cash reserves, and ensure accurate reporting while supporting treasury and financing activities across the scope. The position is based in Madrid with 100% working time.

Qualifications

• Monitoring cash flow and liquidity
• Implement cash collection and disbursement solutions per Group Policy
• Manage cash flow, short/long-term needs, and cash projections for budgets/forecasts
• Analyze differences between actual and estimates
• Assess indebtedness, financial charges and bank fees
• Issue guarantees with credit institutions and ensure follow-up
• Analyze financial risks (rates, FX) and hedging per policy
• Maintain powers of attorney for financial transactions
• Ensure IT tools are configured and used properly
• Provide reporting and treasury KPI analysis
• Support treasury and financing across the scope

Job description

The Treasurer deals with all issues relating to cash flow and financial risk in a company. The Treasurer's main responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, analyzing the debt position of the area for which he/she is responsible, ensuring that cash management solutions are in place and that financial risks are understood and hedged in accordance with Group policies, and providing support to the company on all treasury and financing issues.

• Manage cash flow, short and long term excess / needs, make cash projections for budget and forecast.
• Analyze differences between actual and estimates
• Analyze the indebtedness situation of the scope, the financial charges and bank fees
• Issue guarantees with credit institutions and ensure their follow-up and invoicing with Group entities
• Analyze financial risks of the scope (interest rates, foreign exchange,…) and request hedging as per group policy
• Ensure and maintain the powers of attorney for all financial transactions
• Ensure IT tools of the scope are correctly used and set up
• Make sure the scope complies with the Group policies and local regulations
• Reporting
• Perform reports and analysis about the cash flow, forecast & actual
• Follow treasury KPIs
• Advice and support
• Provide support on treasury and financing to his/her scope
• Respond to treasury-related queries
• Identify risky areas in treasury / financing of his/her scope, provide recommendations
