Job summary

IDOM is seeking a Cost Controller for its Nuclear Services in the ITER program, based in Cadarache, France. You will oversee invoicing and cost control, monitor change management, and contribute to monthly and IPC reporting within a multidisciplinary, international team.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in cost control, and fluency in English. IDOM offers flexible hours, some telework, and a long-term career path in a global company.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of invoicing tracking and cost control experience.
• Experience on projects with budgets > 20M and knowledge of FIDIC.
• Experience in an international environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and monitor contract deviations and variances from project teams and contractors.
• Evaluate variance reports and communicate conclusions to client and stakeholders.
• Assist negotiations with the client on change-related issues.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and IPCs.
• Lead contractor change processes from evaluation to instructions.
• Support the claims process and budget at completion.

We are looking for a Cost Controller for our Technical Area of Nuclear Services as part of its activity in ITER to work in Cadarache, France. • Identify and collect contract deviations from project teams and contractors.
• Evaluate customer variance impact assessment reports.
• Evaluate contractor variances and presented to the client.
• Monitor and report on the change management process to the client and other relevant stakeholders.
• Assist client in negotiations with client on change related issues.
• Participate in the preparation of monthly reports.
• Participate in and support the claims process.
• Produce progress reports on a regular basis.
• Produce Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) on a monthly basis.
• Lead the contractor change process from evaluation to instructions.
• Prepare financial forms.
• Manage budget at completion.
• Follow contingency table.
• Ensure proper implementation of quality standards.

ABOUT YOU

You have a higher degree in any engineering discipline (industrial, civil, mechanical...).You have at least 5 years of experience in tracking and control of invoicing, cost control.Participation in projects with a budget > 20M, knowledge ofFIDICand experience in an international environment will be an asset.Knowledge in electromechanical installations (Electrical, HVAC, I&C, Liquid and Gas).You work in a team and with technical rigor.You perform your work with autonomy and innovative mentality.You have advanced English.Above all...you are eager to learn in an international company like IDOM.
