Forvis Mazars Group in Barcelona is seeking a Manager for its new Center of Excellence. You will lead treasury advisory projects, ensuring client satisfaction and quality standards. The role involves driving business initiatives and managing relationships across Europe.

With 6-8 years of experience in Corporate Treasury Advisory and strong project management skills, you will have the autonomy to impact treasury transformation positively. A competitive and flexible compensation package is offered.

In Europe, Forvis Mazars has developed a leading Corporate Treasury Advisory team with 60+ dedicated consultants supporting Treasury & Financing departments and CFOs across four main areas: (i) Treasury Transformation, (ii) Liquidity Optimization, (iii) Financial Risk Management, and (iv) Operational Support. As part of its strategic development plan, Forvis Mazars aims to further scale this practice by leveraging its strong expertise and international footprint.

To support this ambition, Forvis Mazars is establishing a Center of Excellence in Barcelona, designed to operate as a platform supporting treasury advisory, transformation projects and operational activities (run) across Europe, in close collaboration with local teams.

This platform combines advisory, project delivery and operational support capabilities, with a strong focus on treasury processes and enabling technologies (including TMS and bank connectivity solutions), to support clients in their transformation journey.

We are looking for a Manager to join this Center of Excellence and contribute to the development of this platform across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

Main activities for the role include:

• Lead and oversee the delivery of treasury-related assignments (including treasury transformation, TMS and BCT projects, process optimization, operational support, etc.), ensuring client expectations are exceeded and quality standards are met
• Drive business development initiatives across treasury services in Europe, in coordination with local teams and the broader European platform
• Act as a key interface between the Barcelona Center of Excellence and local country teams, coordinating both project delivery and run activities across geographies
• Lead client engagements from structuring to execution, combining advisory and operational delivery
• Contribute to the structuring and development of the Center of Excellence (methodologies, tools, service offerings)
• Manage, coach and develop junior team members, supporting capability building across treasury topics
• Collaborate closely with Corporate Treasury professionals across Europe to support platform-driven engagements

Your Profile

• 6–8 years of experience in Corporate Treasury Advisory or Treasury functions, with strong exposure to treasury transformation topics and experience in leading engagements and developing client relationships
• Strong experience combining advisory (consulting) and operational delivery (projects and run activities)
• Proven experience in business development and/or client relationship management
• Solid understanding of treasury processes (cash management, payments, FX, debt, liquidity, reporting, etc.)
• Experience with TMS solutions (Kyriba, FIS, SAP TRM, etc.) is a strong plus
• Ability to operate in a multi-country, platform-driven environment, coordinating stakeholders across geographies
• Proven experience in team management and development
• Native or fluent in English
• Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive attitude, and strong ability to drive initiatives in an international environment
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage pressure and deliver results
