Forvis Mazars Group SC in Barcelona is hiring an Assistant Accountant to join the Global Compliance & Reporting team. This role offers an English-speaking international environment with opportunities across Europe and a center of excellence that centralizes accounting, tax, payroll, and legal obligations.

The mission includes interacting with clients, preparing and reviewing general accounting, reporting and treasury forecasts, and supporting annual accounts and internal processes.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or economics.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Postgraduate studies will be positively valued.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel.
• Good oral and written communication in English (B2 or higher).
• Interest and ability to multi-task in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict reporting deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Direct interaction with the different assigned clients (whatever their sector and size).
• Preparation, analysis, and review of the clients’ general accounting (suppliers, clients, accounting entries, provisions, prepayments, banks, fixed assets).
• Preparation of reporting, analytical accounting, treasury forecasts, as well as any additional information requested by the client.
• Preparation of the necessary documentation and information to compile and present the recurrent obligations of the clients.
• Support the preparation of annual accounts and official books.
• Support the automation, standardization, and improvement of internal accounting processes.
• Support in any of the functional areas defined in the department, depending on their skills.

Your mission

Your profile
