At Tappx, we continue to grow, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our Finance team and help us reach new heights.
As a Corporate Development & M&A Analyst, you will be responsible for driving Tappx’s inorganic growth by identifying, originating, and structuring acquisition opportunities within the AdTech and technology ecosystems. You will act as the initial point of contact for founders and build a robust, active pipeline that fuels the company’s M&A strategy in collaboration with the CFO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Pipeline Origination and Development
Identify and map target companies in the AdTech/technology sector (and adjacent verticals) that align with Tappx’s growth strategy.
Build and maintain an active pipeline of acquisition opportunities, applying clear prioritization criteria (strategic fit, size, maturity, geography).
Conduct continuous market research: funding rounds, sector M&A activity, key new players, and consolidation trends.
2. Founder Outreach and Relationship Management
Proactively contact founders and founding teams of target companies (outbound) to initiate exploratory conversations.
Represent Tappx during initial contact, communicating the value proposition of a potential acquisition or partnership.
Maintain ongoing relationships with prospects, even in the absence of an immediate deal (mid-term pipeline nurturing).
3. Opportunity Structuring and Initial Analysis
Gather and organize necessary information on each target (business metrics, financials, team, product) for initial assessment.
Prepare internal summary materials (one-pagers, executive summaries) to present opportunities to the CFO and decision-making committee.
Support preliminary financial analysis: basic valuation models, market comparables, and business metrics.
4. Progressive Involvement in Deal Execution
Collaborate on due diligence processes (financial, legal, operational) as you gain experience and confidence in the role. Assist in coordinating with external advisors (M&A advisors, legal counsel, auditors) during deal execution.
Contribute to transaction documentation (LOIs, term sheets) under the supervision of the CFO.
5. Reporting and internal communication
Periodically report the status of the pipeline, active opportunities, and next steps to the CFO.
Keep relevant internal stakeholders aligned on the progress of discussions with target companies.
