Job summary

Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona seeks a Scientific & Technology Project Manager for the Core Technologies programme. The role coordinates cross-unit projects, supports strategic planning for equipment and funding, and strengthens external collaborations with industry and users to advance multiomics, spatial omics and AI-enabled technologies.

Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between the Core Technologies Programme and CRG Communications, defining priorities, key messages and target audiences for internal and external dissemination
Identify and provide relevant content on the Programme’s technologies, capabilities, achievements and project results for the communication activities led by CRG Communications
Advise CRG Communications on the Programme’s branding and online presence, including what to highlight and when
Collect, consolidate and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across the Technology Units
Prepare reports for the Ministry, the Generalitat and other stakeholders, including Severo Ochoa programme reporting
Support reporting and, when required, the qualitative and quantitative justification of projects
Support the implementation of the Core Technologies strategy within CRG’s Severo Ochoa programme, with a focus on multiomics, spatial omics and AI-enabled technologies
Coordinate the development and updating of unit-level equipment heatmaps to support strategic planning and future equipment investments
