Lear Corporation busca un Arquitecto de Soluciones Mecánicas para definir y guiar la arquitectura mecánica de los sistemas electrónicos automotrices de próxima generación, trabajando a nivel de programa para equilibrar rendimiento, coste y manufactura.

El candidato ideal tiene 12+ años en diseño mecánico automotriz, título de Máster en Ingeniería Mecánica (PhD preferido), experiencia en análisis térmico y herramientas 3D CAD como Ansys y SolidWorks, y capacidad para liderar equipos

Formación

  • 12+ años de experiencia en diseño mecánico y arquitectura para sistemas electrónicos automotrices.

Responsabilidades

  • Definir y gobernar estrategias de arquitectura mecánica para sistemas electrónicos automotrices (PDU, ECU, controladores zonales).
  • Liderar decisiones de diseño a nivel de sistema, equilibrando rendimiento, coste y manufacturabilidad.
  • Desarrollar conceptos mecánicos reutilizables, normas de diseño y estrategias de validación para entornos automotrices exigentes.
  • Colaborar con electrónica, arquitectura de sistemas, fabricación, calidad y cadena de suministro para entregar soluciones integradas.
  • Guiar a ingenieros sénior y fomentar la innovación en materiales, soluciones de enfriamiento, sellado y diseño ligero.

Job Description

You play a key role in defining and governing the mechanical architecture for next-generation low-voltage automotive electronic systems. Working at a principal level, you guide multiple programs, shape long-term design strategies, and ensure solutions meet performance, cost, and manufacturing requirements across product platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Define and govern mechanical architecture strategies for automotive electronic systems such as PDUs, ECUs, and zonal controllers.
  • Lead system-level design decisions, balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop reusable mechanical concepts, design standards, and validation strategies for harsh automotive environments.
  • Collaborate with electronics, system architecture, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Mentor senior engineers and drive innovation in materials, cooling solutions, sealing technologies, and lightweight design.

Experience Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in mechanical design and architecture for automotive electronic systems.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (PhD preferred).
  • Strong expertise in thermal management, sealing systems, vibration, and automotive-grade materials and processes.
  • Proven experience with system-level architecture and cross-functional collaboration in automotive development.
  • Familiarity with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, AIAG-VDA FMEA) and proficiency in 3D CAD tools such as
