Atlas Copco Holding GmbH in Zaragoza seeks an experienced Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer to develop systems for Internal Combustion Engines and powertrains, including controllers, wiring, and module communications. Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electrical/electronic systems for new engines (power train selection, controllers, wiring, communications).
• Create and maintain technical documentation for supplier assemblies and aftermarket service of the machinery (CAE modules: Eplan P8, Pro Panel, Harness).
• Manage issues detected during manufacturing to ensure continuous improvements.
• Work closely with other departments and external partners to assure and optimize the designs.
• Cooperate and supervise in prototypes and industrialization of projects.

We are looking for a new member for the Engineering Department in our Factory of Zaragoza. The person appointed will be responsible for the electrical/electronic design and development of the projects assigned, primarily Internal Combustion Engines Power Systems. Besides will participate in the industrialization process of the designed products.

Responsibilities

1. Design and develop the electrical and electronic systems for new Internal Combustion Engines products (Power train selection, controllers, power connections, parallel mode, wiring calculation, communications between different modules of the machine, etc.).
2. Create and maintain the technical documentation for supplier assembly and aftermarket service of the machinery. The CAE modules used are Eplan P8, Pro Panel and Harness.
3. Manage the issues detected during the manufacturing process to ensure the continuous improvements.
4. Work closely with other departments and external partners to assure and optimize the designs.
5. Cooperate and supervise in the process of prototypes and industrialization of the projects.

Experience requirements

At least 5 years of proven experience in similar jobs.

Educational Requirements

Degree in Electrical or Electronical Engineering.

Must have knowledge

• CAE, Eplan P8, Pro Panel and Harness.
• Office pack.
• Professional competence in English.
• PLM Smartteam or Windchill.
• General knowledge of electronics.
• Knowledge in internal combustion engines systems design.
• Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and batteries or solar systems.
• Knowledge on electrical regulations and certifications (CE Mark and UL/CSA desirable).

Nice to have knowledge

• Knowledge in power electronics, electrical machinery and batteries or solar systems are a plus.
