Expert Executive Recruiters (EER Global) is seeking an experienced System Architect for a global automotive supplier in Barcelona. The role involves overseeing system engineering and architecture for automotive systems, converting customer requirements into detailed specifications, and ensuring system integration.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, along with solid hands-on experience in Functional Safety and proficiency in Spanish and English. This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package within a rapidly expanding e-mobility industry.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer / Architect in the Automotive industry.
• Solid experience in the whole product life cycle.
• Experience in powertrain/battery management/ADAS system engineering.
• Solid hands-on experience in Functional Safety.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking an experienced System Architect for our client, a global automotive supplier undergoing expansion in Barcelona. With a team of over 100 employees worldwide and a growing local team, our client is at the forefront of developing next-generation, high-performance electrical powertrain systems that are transforming the electric vehicle market. Serving primarily OEM clients, and Tier 1 Suppliers, they are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the industry.

Onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee system engineering and architecture for cutting-edge automotive systems.
• Convert customer requirements into detailed system specifications, covering electronics, mechanics, and software documentation.
• Handle system integration, including vehicle integration at the customer’s site.
• Establish testing requirements and methods, supporting verification and validation efforts.
• Participate in hands‑on projects, including proof‑of‑concept development and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer / Architect in the Automotive industry
• Solid experience in the whole product life cycle (gathering requirements, design, architecture, simulation, validation, test, and implementation/integration)
• Experience in either powertrain/battery management/ADAS system engineering
• Solid hands‑on experience in Functional Safety
• Fluent Spanish and English language skills
