Atlas Copco Holding GmbH in Zaragoza, Spain, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design and development. The role involves creating components for new products, defining framing and containerization solutions, and producing documentation for suppliers and service teams.

You will collaborate across departments, support manufacturing issues, and contribute to prototype testing and industrialization. English proficiency and 5+ years of experience are required.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years as Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
• Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialization).
• Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (Inventor, Eplan) and PLM systems.
• Professional level of English.
• Knowledge of cooling, vibration, noise, engines is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical components for new products (metal sheet and plastic parts).
• Define frame, canopy and containerization solutions including lifting structures and calculations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for suppliers, assembly and aftermarket service.
• Manage and resolve manufacturing issues, driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to optimize designs.
• Participate in prototype development, testing, validation and industrialization processes.
• Perform calculations related to CoGs, vibration dampening and material resistance.

You will

You have at least 5 years of experience working as a Mechanical Engineer or in a similar role.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering (Mechanical specialization)
• Strong knowledge of CAD/CAE tools such as Inventor, Eplan or similar
• Experience with PLM systems and Office tools
• Professional level of English
• Solid understanding of industrial machinery and mechanical design processes
• Knowledge of cooling systems, vibration, noise and engines is a plus
• Experience in containerized systems or modification of shipping containers is a plus

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Product Company in Zaragoza / Spain, Spain (ES).
