Burgess is seeking a Crew Chef for a 70m motor yacht based in Spain. This role involves supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and service of meals for guests and crew, provisioning, menu planning and maintaining high hygiene standards on board.

The ideal candidate holds STCW, ENG1 and Food Hygiene Level 2, with at least 1 year of yacht crew chef experience and a Chef Cook Diploma. Willingness to participate in guest entertainment is a plus.

Formación

• STCW, ENG1 and Food Hygiene Level 2 (FHL2) certifications are essential.
• At least 1 year's experience as Crew Chef on a vessel of similar size.
• Chef Cook Diploma/certificate required.
• Provisioning, stock control and inventory management experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Support Head Chef in preparation and service of guest and crew meals.
• Ability to prepare balanced, healthy and varied meals for crew.
• Willingness to participate in guest entertainment when required.
• Schengen visa and B1/B2 visa required.

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Crew Chef for a 70m motor yacht.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented chef looking to build their yachting career onboard a prestigious vessel.

Requirements:

• Valid STCW, ENG1 & Food Hygiene Level 2 (FHL2) certification essential
• At least 1 year's experience as a Crew Chef on similar sized vessel
• Chef Cook Qualification (diploma) required
• Confident with provisioning, stock control, and inventory
• Strong organisational skills and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Able to support the Head Chef in the preparation and service of guest and crew meals
• Ability to prepare balanced, healthy and varied meals for crew
• Comfortable in taking turn to partake in guest entertainment from time to time
• Schengen & B1/B2 visa required

Start date: 15 October

Location: Spain

Salary: 5000 USD

Leave: 60 days

Itinerary: Private – Worldwide cruising. Caribbean for the upcoming season crossing back to the Med in April 2027.
