Hitachi Energy Spain, S.A.U. in Madrid invites applications for an Electrical Engineer to design and program control and protection software for power converter systems used in STATCOM and rail power supply projects.

You will define technical requirements, collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, and test systems in simulation, real-time and on-site environments, with travel of about 15%. Fluent in English; bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and up to 3 years' experience required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in control systems, power electronics, or similar.
• Familiarity with Matlab Simulink, HiDraw or Compact Control Builder.
• Willingness to travel – commissioning and on-site experience in an electrical environment is highly welcomed.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
