Amàre Beach Hotel Marbella, part of Fuerte Group Hotels, seeks a Kitchen Assistant / Commis Chef to support our luxury resort kitchen in Marbella, Spain.

You will assist line cooks, prepare mise en place, maintain cold chain, support buffet service, and ensure cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced luxury environment. Minimum 1 year in a 4-star+ hotel kitchen; English is a plus. Join a vibrant beachfront team committed to culinary excellence.

Formación

• Vocational Degree in Culinary Arts/Gastronomy or equivalent and a valid Food Handler Certificate.
• At least 1 year of experience as Kitchen Assistant in 4-star or higher luxury hotel kitchens.
• English language skills are considered a valuable asset in an international guest environment.

Responsabilidades

• Food Prep & Service Support: Clean, peel, and cut raw ingredients for garnishes and prepare simple menu items following recipe cards.
• Buffet Operations: Assist line chefs with setup, ongoing maintenance, and breakdown of buffet service.
• Cold Chain & Stock Hygiene: Store produce correctly, maintain cold chain protocols and organize refrigerators.
• Station Cleaning & Sanitation: Clean work tables, kitchen stations, and utensils post-service.
• Quality & Waste Monitoring: Inspect ingredient quality and log kitchen waste; report equipment defects.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to quality, occupational health, environmental, and food safety standards.
