Job summary

PPG Industries seeks a Technical Service professional to support Iberia and EMEA food and general line customers. You will optimize lacquer application, support trials, and work closely with sales, R&D, quality, and supply chain to address customer needs.

The role requires strong problem solving, clear communication, and extensive travel across Iberia. Fluency in Spanish and English is expected, with a bachelor’s in chemistry or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• Experience in Technical Service, Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, or Application Support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical service and application support to Food & General Line customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits to support production, trials, and product implementation.
• Support lacquer application process optimization and coating performance improvement.
• Troubleshoot coating, manufacturing, and can transformation issues.
• Lead product validation, qualification, and technical assessment activities.
• Build strong relationships with customer Quality, Technical, and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain to address customer needs.
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer processes and product performance.
• Support business growth through outstanding technical partnership and customer support.
