HOLCIM Group seeks a Cloud Dev/Ops Engineer to join the Global Development Platform in Madrid. You will help design and operate a cloud development platform, promoting Dev/Ops culture, with a focus on resilience, security and efficient deployments.

The role requires hands-on experience with automation, IaC, containers, and modern cloud services, plus strong English communication. Collaboration with product teams across regions is expected.

Formación

• Technical degree in Information Technology or similar.
• Certifications related to his/her area of expertise.
• IT experience with solutions definition and process management.
• Proven experience with Agile methodology in operational teams.
• Experience deploying and/or administering IT automation solutions (Ansible, Ansible Tower, AWX, CTRL-M, etc.).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, SVN), test integration, code review, quality gates and audits (SonarQube, Kiuwan, HP Fortify, etc.).
• Experience with AWS Services (EBS, S3, Glacier, ECS, EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, DMS, RDS, etc.).
• Experience with microservices, containers and orchestrators (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Nexus, Docker Hub, Quay.io, RH registry).
• Knowledge on runtime solutions: JBoss, Tomcat, etc.
• Experience with agile tooling (Jira, Trello, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Elastic, Prometheus+Grafana, Datadog, etc.).
• Experience designing solutions using REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Linux administration on any distribution.
• Knowledge of database administration: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Ability to read and understand log traces on any system.
• Ability to work independently or on transversal teams to solve automation & CI/CD problems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings clearly.
• Experience in IT security controls within infrastructure, web, mobile apps and databases.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and deliver complex projects across cultures.
• Problem analysis, troubleshooting, creativity and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills in English. Spanish, French, Arabic, German and other languages are advantageous.
