Plain Concepts Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement data-powered software solutions across cloud platforms. You will train and deploy cutting-edge data solutions with a collaborative team and agile ownership of projects.

You’ll develop ETLs using Spark in Python/Scala, build scalable pipelines, and contribute to best practices while working on remote-friendly, flexible schedules. English proficiency is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines (CI/CD).
• Strong Python or Scala and Spark expertise.
• Cloud platforms knowledge (Azure or AWS).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETLs using Spark (Python/Scala).
• Build scalable data pipelines across cloud environments.
• Participate in design and development of data solutions for challenging projects.
• Work with Agile teams and own end-to-end components.
• Promote best practices: clean, reusable code and testing.
