Monex is seeking a Settlements Operations Analyst in Madrid to support efficient day-to-day settlements and reconciliations. The role focuses on payments, cash flows, and risk mitigation for FX transactions across multiple client and bank portals.

The candidate will handle inward/outward payments, verification, and escalation of payment issues, while ensuring regulatory reporting and standard documentation across a global finance team.

Formación

• Experience in international payments is required.
• Experience in customer service is advantageous.
• Ability to anticipate issues and mitigate accordingly.
• Able to demonstrate credibility with clients and colleagues across cultures and geographies.
• Experience ensuring and maintaining documentation standards for department systems, controls, policies, and processes.
• Demonstrate professional acumen, integrity, collaboration, resilience and trustworthiness.
• Strong interpersonal, client relationship, influencing and communication skills.
• Assertiveness with the ability to influence others constructively.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
• MiFID II certification is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with Clients, Brokers and Banks to facilitate settlement of FX transactions and cash flows
• Account reconciliation and remediation
• Inward/Outward payment entry
• Payment verification, approval and release
• Payment error investigation and resolution
• Undertaking Safeguarding and CASP daily requirements
• Preparation of monthly account financial reconciliation reports
• Preparation of monthly regulatory reports to Bank of Spain and CNMV
