COLIBRIX ONE is seeking a Clearing and Settlement Specialist to manage liquidity transfers, reconcile nostro accounts, and oversee settlement with card schemes across international payment flows. You will monitor FX operations, ensure accurate settlements, and coordinate with banks and payment providers.

Ideal candidates have banking/fintech experience, strong reconciliation skills, and familiarity with SWIFT/SEPA, nostro accounts, and merchant settlements.

Responsabilidades

• Liquidity transfers: manage and monitor liquidity transfers between nostro accounts to maintain sufficient balances for daily payment and settlement obligations.
• Daily reconciliation of nostro account balances and transactions; investigate discrepancies.
• Currency conversions: execute FX conversions on nostro accounts per liquidity needs.
• Visa/Mastercard clearing & settlement: monitor and validate settlement amounts; resolve discrepancies.
• Daily reconciliation of payment, settlement, and bank activity.
• Investigate operational exceptions and coordinate resolution with banks, PSPs, card schemes, and internal stakeholders.
• Follow internal controls, cut-off times, and escalation processes.

We are looking for Clearing and Settlement Specialist with hands‑on experience in international payments, liquidity management, Issuing and Acquiring Reconciliations and Settlement, and merchant financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Liquidity Transfers: Manage and monitor liquidity transfers between nostro accounts to maintain sufficient balances for daily payment and settlement obligations
• Nostro Account Management: Daily reconciliation nostro account balances and transactions, investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Currency Conversions: Execute and monitor FX/currency conversions on nostro accounts based on operational liquidity and settlement requirements
• Visa/Mastercard Clearing & Settlement: Monitor card-scheme clearing and settlement processes, validate settlement amounts, ensure sufficient funding, and investigate reconciliation or settlement discrepancies
• Perform daily reconciliation of payment, settlement, and bank account activity
• Investigate operational exceptions and payment discrepancies and coordinate their resolution with banks, payment providers, card schemes, and internal stakeholders
• Follow internal controls, operational procedures, cut-off times, and escalation processes

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

• Previous experience in banking, fintech, payment operations, treasury operations, or financial operations
• Practical knowledge of SWIFT and SEPA payment processing
• Understanding of nostro accounts, correspondent banking, liquidity management, and FX operations
• Experience with or strong understanding of Visa/Mastercard clearing and settlement processes
• Experience with merchant settlement/repayment and reconciliation processes
• Strong reconciliation and transaction-investigation skills
• Good understanding of payment statuses, returns, rejects, settlement cycles, cut-off times, and operational controls
• Strong Excel/spreadsheet skills and ability to work with transaction and reconciliation data
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with financial transactions
• Ability to identify, investigate, elevate, and follow operational issues through to resolution
