The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is seeking a Public Area Cleaner to maintain immaculate spaces across the resort, ensuring the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

You will work as part of a multinational team, on rotating shifts, keeping public areas, corridors and restrooms spotless, while adhering to safety and sustainability procedures.

• Basic education or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in cleaning, especially in hotels, resorts, or similar environments is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out daily cleaning and maintenance of the resort’s assigned areas to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
• Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, both indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure areas are prepared and presented with attention to detail.
• Use cleaning products and equipment following procedures and safety instructions.
• Replenish supplies and ensure items are available and organized.
• Remove and manage waste according to hygiene and safety standards.
• Report damage or maintenance issues promptly.
• Keep cleaning equipment clean, organized, and stored after use.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to meet cleaning requirements.
• Respond to cleaning requests with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
• Follow all hygiene, health, safety, security and sustainability procedures.
• Adhere to Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton standards.
• Contribute to maintaining the image and standards of excellence.

As a Public Area Cleaner, you will play a key role in ensuring that the different areas of the resort are always clean, organized, and impeccably presented, directly contributing to the exceptional experience we provide to our guests.

Your Responsibilities Include…

• Carry out the daily cleaning and maintenance of the resort’s assigned areas, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation at all times.
• Clean and maintain public areas, corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and other assigned areas, both indoors and outdoors.
• Ensure that every area is properly prepared and presented, paying particular attention to the smallest details.
• Use cleaning products, equipment, and materials correctly, following established procedures and safety instructions.
• Replenish cleaning products and supplies in the assigned areas, ensuring they are always available and properly organized.
• Remove and manage waste in accordance with internal procedures and hygiene, safety, and sustainability standards.
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, or situations that may affect the safety, cleanliness, or proper presentation of the facilities.
• Keep cleaning equipment and materials clean, organized, and properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with the different hotel departments to ensure that cleaning requirements across the resort are handled efficiently.
• Respond to cleaning-related requests in assigned areas with a professional, friendly, and service-oriented attitude.
• Follow all hygiene, occupational health and safety, security, and sustainability procedures established by the resort.
• Ensure compliance with the policies, procedures, and standards of Marriott International and The Ritz-Carlton.
• Actively contribute to maintaining the image and standards of excellence that distinguish The Ritz-Carlton.

What we are looking for…

• Basic education or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in cleaning, particularly within hotels, resorts, buildings, hospitals, or other professional environments, will be positively valued.
• You are responsible, organized, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• You have excellent attention to detail and take pride in keeping spaces consistently immaculate.
• You enjoy working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues from different departments and nationalities.
• You are able to work independently while following established instructions and procedures.
• You are discreet, professional, and respectful at all times.

• You are physically able to perform the duties of the position, including standing for extended periods, walking, and carrying out cleaning tasks and handling cleaning materials.
• You communicate in Spanish. Knowledge of English will be positively valued.
• You are available to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• You already hold a valid work permit for Spain.
