The Ritz-Carlton Tenerife, Abama is seeking a courteous Driver to ensure safe, comfortable transportation for guests arriving and departing the resort. You will uphold The Ritz-Carlton standards while delivering exceptional, personalized service in a luxury setting.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, documentation, and collaboration with hotel departments to create seamless guest experiences. Valid Spain work authorization required, with a strong hospitality mindset and professional

Formación

  • Secondary School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in customer service, passenger transportation or hospitality is a plus.
  • Strong guest-service orientation and passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with different departments.
  • Responsible and safety-focused attitude.
  • Remain calm in unexpected situations.
  • Good physical condition for standing and luggage assistance.
  • Basic knowledge of road safety and vehicle maintenance.
  • English language skills are desirable; other languages are a plus.
  • Legal authorization to work in Spain.

Responsabilidades

  • Transport guests to and from destinations in hotel vehicles.
  • Welcome guests professionally, maintaining service standards.
  • Document transportation services before and after trips.
  • Park and safeguard hotel vehicles when not in use.
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation.
  • Monitor tire pressure, fluids and fuel levels.
  • Report vehicle issues and maintenance needs promptly.
  • Record incidents or accidents as required by procedures.
  • Follow safety policies and participate in trainings.
  • Respond to guest inquiries with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience.
  • Protect guest and company information confidentiality.
  • Support team goals and service excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Who are we looking for?

As a Driver, you will play a key role in our guests' arrival and departure experience, ensuring safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services while representing the highest standards of The Ritz‑Carlton service.

Your Responsibilities Will Include...
  • Transport guests to and from assigned destinations using hotel vehicles, ensuring a safe and comfortable experience at all times.
  • Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner, following company service standards and protocols.
  • Accurately document transportation services before and after each trip.
  • Park and safeguard hotel vehicles in designated areas when not in use.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper condition, cleanliness, and presentation.
  • Monitor tire pressure, fluid levels, and fuel levels, ensuring vehicles remain in optimal operating condition.
  • Promptly report any repair, maintenance, or vehicle‑related issues.
  • Record and report any incidents, damage, or accidents involving hotel vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
  • Comply with all company safety, quality, and occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in mandatory training programs and maintain all required certifications.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, calls, and requests with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and comply with company grooming and uniform standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Protect the confidentiality of guest and company information.
  • Support team members in achieving common goals and delivering service excellence.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors or management.
What We're Looking For In You...
  • Secondary School Diploma, High School Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in customer service, passenger transportation, hospitality, or similar roles is considered an asset.
  • Strong guest‑service orientation and passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different operational departments.
  • Responsible, proactive, and safety‑focused attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in unexpected situations.
  • Good physical condition, including the ability to stand, walk, and assist with luggage when required.
  • Basic knowledge of road safety regulations and preventive vehicle maintenance.
  • English language skills are highly desirable; additional languages are a plus.
  • Valid authorization to work in Spain.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Valid driver's license legally recognized in Spain.
  • Acceptable driving record in accordance with company standards.
  • Possession of a valid CAP (Certificate of Professional Competence) License for Train Transport Operations.
