Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced city managers to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated outputs across policy memos, interagency coordination reports, and grant narratives.

The role is fully remote with flexible 5–20 hours per week, start ASAP, compensation at $70/hour, and a focus on public administration excellence and meticulous writing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working within government agencies or public administration, with direct ownership of policy briefing memos and grant compliance packages.
• Strong command of public-sector writing conventions, rulemaking public comment procedure, and appropriations narrative development.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Prepare policy briefing memos for agency leadership and interagency coordination reports.
• Develop grant compliance packages and reporting narratives.
• Manage constituent correspondence and case management logs with attention to detail.
