Job summary

BBVA in Madrid is seeking a strategic professional to participate in defining and executing cross-functional projects aligned with BBVA Group and CIB goals. The role requires coordinating transformation initiatives across geographies and products, while supporting senior leadership with market insights and strategic presentations.

The ideal candidate will bring a background in business, engineering, or sciences, with an MBA or postgraduate degree preferred, and fluency in English and Spanish.

About the job:

What are we looking for?

• Experience & Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred. Fluency in English and Spanish (minimum C1; C2 preferred). At least 1 year of experience in strategy and/or business development. Knowledge of CIB is an advantage.
• Leadership & Mindset: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a structured and data-driven approach. Collaborative mindset with a focus on high performance and continuous improvement. High level of motivation and ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments. Experience in cross-functional, multidisciplinary environments, with exposure to senior stakeholders across geographies. Strong ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and tight deadlines while maintaining strategic focus.
