Job summary

Nationale-Nederlanden (NN Group) is seeking a Head of IT Assurance to lead the strategy for IT Security and IT Service Management. You will drive governance, risk, and resilience across a complex IT landscape, balancing business priorities with technology risk.

You will lead IT Assurance and ITSM teams, ensuring secure services, effective incident management and strategic technology investments. Strong leadership and regulatory acumen are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL or CISA.
• Proven senior leadership experience in complex IT environments.
• Broad expertise across Information Security, IT Risk and IT Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for IT Security and ITSM, aligned with business priorities.
• Lead the IT Assurance and ITSM Managers, promoting collaboration across IT and business.
• Ensure secure, resilient IT services meeting business needs and SLAs.
• Govern information security, IT risk and compliance within risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee performance and resilience of critical IT services and incident management.
• Embed security and resilience principles across technology initiatives and change programs.
• Provide senior leadership with clear insights into IT security and risks for decision-making.
• Oversee resources, budgets and technology partners to deliver business value.
