Job summary

Nationale-Nederlanden in Madrid seeks a Head of IT Assurance to lead the strategy for Information Security and IT Service Management, ensuring that our technology services are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with business priorities. You will guide the IT Assurance and ITSM teams, promoting collaboration across IT and the broader organization.

You will oversee governance of information security, IT risk and compliance, ensure resilient IT services, and translate complex security topics

Qualifications

• Strategic leadership and governance experience across information security and IT risk.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders, regulators, auditors, and partners.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, operational resilience, IT governance and control frameworks.
• Experience in ITSM, incident management and service continuity.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for IT Security and ITSM.
• Lead IT Assurance and ITSM managers, setting priorities and fostering collaboration.
• Govern information security, IT risk and compliance within the company’s risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee major incidents, vulnerabilities, service disruptions and remediation actions.
• Embed security and resilience principles across technology initiatives and business change.
• Provide senior leadership with clear insights into IT security, service performance, and technology risks.
