Nextpower seeks a Head of Engineering to lead the Electromechanical Engineering department, driving design, validation, and implementation of high‑power power converters, electric drive systems, and industrial power supplies. You will shape the technology roadmap and ensure cost, reliability, and performance goals are met.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, 12+ years in industrial design, and fluency in Spanish and English, with 5+ years leading teams.

Formación

Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, electromechanical or industrial engineering.
Master’s degree or PhD in power electronics highly desirable.
Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
At least 12 years of design and detailed engineering experience with 5+ years leading teams.

Responsabilidades

Supervise electromechanical design reviews of electrical and mechanical systems.
Oversee mechanical design and thermal management including 3D modelling and cooling simulations.
Manage department budget, set KPIs, and lead the technical team.
Approve manufacturing standards, work instructions, roadmaps, and technical change control.
Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for installations.
